RINDERPEST DISEASE OF LIVESTOCK:

Causal organism: the causal organism is virus Transmission: by direct contact or from discharge on beddings and utensils.
Symptoms: rise in body temperature, eye and nostril discharge, twitching of the muscle and aching of the back, diarrhea sets in and rough ulcers appear in the mouth and on the tongue
Effects and economic importance: infected animals loses weight and finally dies. There is no cure for this disease once it occurs.
Control: it can be controlled by isolation and vaccination.
