Briefly describe the anatomical snuff box

Definition: the anatomical snuff box is a concavity on the radial side of the wrist.
Boundaries:
anterior: tendons of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis.
posterior: tendon of the extensor pollicis longus
floor: formed by the scaphoid and trapezium bones
roof: formed by skin and fascia.
Content: – Radial artery
                – cutaneous branches of the radial nerves.
Clinical correlates: radial pulse can be felt, for clinical purposes, in the anatomical snuff box.
